Smarter Together.

Have you ever tried to use a smart home device, only to find out that it works with a limited number of other devices? It’s like trying to have a conversation with someone who only speaks one language. Frustrating, right?

That’s where integration comes in!

Integration in the world of IoT (Internet of Things) means that devices from different brands and manufacturers can work together and communicate with each other. This is important because it allows consumers to build a connected ecosystem of devices that can work together to achieve a common goal.

For example, you can have a smart home system made up of devices from different brands, such as a smart thermostat, smart lights, and smart locks, all working together to create a cohesive and seamless experience.  With each device having its own unique skills and capabilities, they all work together to make your life easier and more convenient.

It reminds me of the fenestration industry to be honest.  With my dad having been in the industry for so long, I’ve probably been in and around it since birth, and it still amazes me how so many companies and products from different suppliers all come together to create the perfect end product for the consumer.

From the simple screw, through hinges, slabs, profiles, locks and now Smart products (sorry if I forgot anyone!), each of us have our own unique skills and capabilities that come together to make your life (as the installer) that much simpler, creating a seamless experience for your customer.

It’s this seamless experience that is so crucial – especially as the world gets Smarter and Smarter – which is why we put so much emphasis on user experience.

Whether it’s when the consumer first decides to upgrade to smart or after-sales care, we pride ourselves in giving everybody in the supply chain a first class experience when interacting with Kubu.

We have a number of years experience now, where we have come across and solved pretty much every problem the window and door industry has thrown at us – from sash drop and thermal movement, to manufacturing and fitting tolerances – our tech has been tried, tested and perfected.

One of the biggest fears most installers state when considering a move to Smart tech is the after sales support.

What happens if something goes wrong?

Well, we provide all support required – whether that’s by email, over the phone or even sending out an engineer – to make sure you aren’t left with the hassle of returning to the job.

To take it a step further, if you choose to join our PRO Installer scheme, we’ll feel like an extension of your team –  providing you with all of the product and sales training you need, and will even provide you with showroom setups and point-of-sales materials to make sure you feel totally comfortable at every step of your journey to becoming a Smart Installer.

Just as it did in the heating sector, we all know Smart is coming to fenestration, so it’s all about us making it as seamless and simple as possible for our customers and partners, and

with Kubu, the future is looking brighter and more integrated than ever before!

Be Smart.  Work with Kubu.
